Handwashing Video For Kids on DVD: Download Instructions

If you would like to burn your own video DVD of PKIDs' 13 minute handwashing video for kids, follow the instructions below. Even with a fast internet connection, this process may take a few hours.

You will need:

• 600 MB of hard disk space
• WinZip or WinRAR (for unzipping and combining the files below)
• A DVD burner
• A blank DVD disc compatible with your burner
• A DVD burning program, such as Nero

1. Download the following files to your computer (by right-clicking and selecting "Save Target As...") and save them in the same folder:

Internet Explorer users please note: when saving a link with a .z01 extension, make sure you save the file with .z01, not .zip. The link is correct, but IE may try to change the extension for you.

2. Using a program such as WinZip or WinRAR, open/extract the first file, "PKIDsHandVideo.zip." WinZip/WinRAR should automatically detect and combine all the files so that you will have one file at the end of the process entitled "PKIDs.iso."

3. Open this file, "PKIDs.iso", and burn it to a DVD with a DVD-burning program, such as Nero Burning ROM. If you are using Nero:

• Insert a blank DVD in your DVD burner
• Double-click on the "PKIDs.iso" filename to open it
• In the upper left corner of the window that appears, choose "DVD" (not CD)
• Click "Burn"

4. The disc produced at the end of this process should now be playable in a home DVD player.
